From 3 to 5 March, Madrid hosted a mission organised by the Representation of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Spain. This event marked an important step in strengthening economic ties between the two countries, bringing together more than 20 Belarusian companies with their potential Spanish partners.

In a world where technology is advancing rapidly, digitalisation has become a necessity for businesses. In 2025, companies seeking to strengthen their presence on the international market are increasingly turning to innovation. Belarus and Spain, thanks to their unique potential in this field, offer solutions that can take business relations between the two countries to a new level. The Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Spain explains how digital tools are helping companies adapt to today's challenges.

The Economic Research Department of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Spain regularly monitors and analyses the main socio-economic indicators of the Republic of Belarus. In a dynamically changing external economic environment, special attention is paid to the adaptation of the national economy to new challenges and identification of promising directions for its development.

The environment is changing due to natural and anthropogenic factors, which has a significant impact on the economy, labour market and social processes. The Economic Studies Department analyses how countries are embracing these changes, including Belarus, where green initiatives are gaining increasing importance within the economic strategy.

Belarusian exports continue to adapt to the changing conditions of global trade, exploring new logistics routes. In 2025, the key remains the development of transit to China, as well as the optimisation of deliveries to countries in Asia, the Middle East and Africa.

Trends in global agricultural commodity markets for 2025 show a stabilisation of prices, instead of the high volatility in previous years. Increased interest in organic products and expanding trade linkages are expected, especially in developing countries. Experts predict that the expansion of digital platforms for trade will play a key role in the development of international trade flows. This opens up new opportunities for intermediaries and companies that focus on the agricultural sector.
