At Belarus Chamber of Commerce & Industry Spain, we are very committed to the protection of your personal data and therefore, we guarantee compliance with the provisions of (i) Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data (GDPR); (ii) in Organic Law 3/2018, of 5 December, on the Protection of Personal Data and Guarantee of Digital Rights (LOPD); (iii) and in Law 34/2002, of 11 July, on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce.

The purpose of this Privacy Policy is to set out the basis on which any personal data we collect from you, or that you provide to us, is processed by us and to inform you about how we safeguard your personal data and what your rights are.

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time, so we will always indicate the date of the last update. We strongly recommend that you review it carefully and visit it regularly to ensure that you are aware of the most current version of this Privacy Policy.

WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE PROCESSING OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA?

The party responsible for the processing of personal data is the Belarus Chamber of Commerce & Industry Spain, with Tax Identification Number B66801457, registered office at Plaça Francesc Macià 7, Planta 10, Barcelona (Barcelona), Post Code 08029; and is registered in the Companies Register of Barcelona, Volume 45440, Folio 102, Page B 487840, 1st Entry.

WHAT IS A PERSONAL DATA?

Personal data is any information about an identified or identifiable natural person, such as a first name, surname, e-mail address, telephone number, etc.

FOR WHAT PURPOSE DO WE COLLECT YOUR PERSONAL DATA?

Your personal data is used to provide you with the service and to manage the contractual relationship; to improve our products and services and to control the quality of the same; to deal with your queries and requests; to communicate with you to manage the commercial relationship; to accredit the contract; to protect our rights and interests and those of third parties; to comply with the applicable laws and regulations; and with your consent, to send you commercial information that may be of interest to you.

We also inform you that we are present on social networks. The processing of the data of people who become followers (and/or make any link or connection action through social networks) of our official accounts on social networks will be governed by this section, the rest of this Privacy Policy and the Conditions of Use of the Website, as well as by the Conditions of Use, privacy policies and other access, use and similar regulations that belong to the corresponding social network. In this environment, we will process your data for the purposes of correctly managing your presence in the corresponding social network, informing you of our services, or those of third parties that may be related to our activity, as well as for any other similar purpose in accordance with the policies of each social network.

We will only use your personal data for the purposes for which it was collected, processing of personal data for other purposes incompatible with the above is not allowed.

WHAT ARE THE LEGAL GROUNDS FOR PROCESSING YOUR DATA?

The legal basis for the processing of the data is:

The consent you have given us. However, you may withdraw your consent at any time, which in no way affects our commercial or contractual relationship with you.

Contracting and service delivery; which allows us to manage our contractual and commercial relationships, to serve you in any of the available methods, and to confirm the validity of the contract.

Legitimate interests: (i) properly manage our business, (ii) manage our products, services, and publicly available information, (iii) improve customer service and website usability, (iv) respond to customer inquiries, (v) perform statistical and market research or satisfaction surveys, and (vi) measure the effectiveness of advertising.

WHAT PERSONAL DATA WE COLLECT?

We may collect, use, store and transfer personal data when you register on our website, use our mobile applications, request information through a contact form or simply browse our web site. As an example, but not limited to, the following personal data may be collected:

Contact details: e-mail and postal address.

Contractual data: pre-existing data relating to payments made or received for contracted services, contractual transaction data and purchased services.

We will record the information you provide to us, store it, and may use it in accordance with the purposes set out above. We may also use your information to generate aggregated data that does not identify you, for example, to generate statistics about our users or the geographical distribution of our visitors.

In order to guarantee the correct processing of your personal data, it is your responsibility to ensure that they are correct, complete, accurate and duly updated, and we shall not be liable for any direct or indirect damage that may arise from this non-compliance.

It is possible that during the electronic purchase process, the payment service provider may require, before completing the payment, an additional layer of authentication through the introduction of a categorised personal data, in accordance with the 3D-Secure protocol and the provisions of Royal Decree-Law 19/2018, of 23 November, on payment services and other urgent measures in financial matters. Neither we nor any third party will have access to this information, which is encrypted and securely processed on the servers of your bank, to prevent possible fraud and abuse in online purchases.

HOW DO WE COLLECT YOUR PERSONAL DATA?

We use different methods of data collection: you provide them to us directly when you request information from us or use our products or services (direct interaction); or through your navigation on our website - through cookies and similar technologies (automated technologies). The information you provide us with in the data collection forms is voluntary, however, in certain cases, if you do not provide us with your personal data, we will not be able to contract with you or provide you with the service or product you have requested.

HOW DO WE PROTECT YOUR PERSONAL DATA?

We have taken appropriate technical and organisational measures to provide a high level of security and confidentiality of information to prevent the loss, misuse, alteration, unauthorised access and theft of personal data. In adopting them, we take into account the nature of the data processed, the scope, context and purposes of the processing, as well as the risks of various kinds and severity to the rights and freedoms of natural persons.

WHO CAN HAVE ACCESS TO YOUR PERSONAL DATA?

When we communicate your data to third parties, we undertake to ensure that the recipient has appropriate technical and organisational measures in place to ensure the confidentiality and security of the data transferred. We may disclose your data to certain recipients if required to fulfil our contractual obligations, for the provision of certain services by third parties, and for the other purposes set out in this Privacy Policy.

Where it is necessary for your personal data to be processed on our behalf by a third party service provider, such processing will be governed by a written contract, expressly stating that the processor will only process the data in accordance with the instructions given by us, as data controllers, and will maintain the confidentiality and security of the personal data it may receive and process.

TO WHOM IS THE DATA DISCLOSED?

The Belarus Chamber of Commerce & Industry Spain informs you that your personal data will not be passed on to third parties without your consent.

Your personal data will be processed, stored and transferred to third parties in the manner and to the extent set out in this Privacy Policy, in the contracts you have entered into with us, and in the consents you have given us. We also inform you that your data may be transferred in those cases in which we are required to do so by law.

HOW LONG WILL WE KEEP YOUR PERSONAL DATA?

We will keep your personal data for the time strictly necessary to carry out the purposes for which they were collected, as long as you do not request their deletion, as well as the time necessary to comply with the legal obligations and possible liabilities that may arise and that in each case correspond according to each type of data. We may keep your personal data even after you have ceased to be our customer, or you have requested the deletion of the same for the attention of possible liabilities arising from the processing during the period of limitation of the same, but we will keep them blocked and only at the disposal of the Public Administrations, Judges and Courts.

Any person has the right to obtain information about the processing that is being carried out on their personal data by Belarus Chamber of Commerce & Industry Spain. We inform you that you may exercise the following rights:

Right of access to your personal data, to know which of them are processed and how we carry out the processing operations.

The right to rectify any inaccurate personal data.

The right to erasure of your personal data, where possible.

The right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data.

Right to object to the processing of your personal data.

The right to data portability, so that the data are transferred to another controller in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format.

The right to withdraw the consent given at any time.

The right not to be subject to automated decisions, including profiling, which produce legal effects or similarly affect you.

On the other hand, we inform you that you have the right to file a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (C/ Jorge Juan, 6, 28001 Madrid) if you consider that the processing of your personal data does not comply with current legislation.
