SF Abogados file suit against Catalan government

The law firm SF Abogados this week filed a lawsuit against the Catalan government to protect fundamental human rights, challenging the legality of a regulation requiring the presentation of a "COVID passport" to enter indoor areas such as restaurants, gyms and hotels.

This lawsuit was filed to protect the rights of all those who cannot be vaccinated for health reasons

The High Court of Justice of Catalonia will decide today whether the requirement to present a "COVID passport" should be lifted in order to respect fundamental human rights.

"It is our duty as lawyers to defend the rights of all those who are forgotten by the government and whose interests are not taken into account when regulations are passed.  This case best reflects the values and principles of our law firm", said David Figueres, CEO and lawyer at SF Abogados.
