Minister of Industry Pyotr Parkhomchik, Chairman of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Vladimir Ulakhovich, and Deputy Chairman of the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus Sergei Chizhik have presented the industrial potential of the Republic of Belarus at Serbia's largest exhibition, the International Agricultural Fair Novi Sad, which strted on 18 September.
The exhibition Made in Belarus shows the best products of 13 domestic manufacturers: Gomselmash, Minsk Tractor Works, Bobruisk Plant of Tractor Parts and Units, Belshina, Mogilevkhimvolokno, Lakokraska, Mining Wax Plant, Soligorsk Poultry Farm, Molochny Mir, and institutes of the National Academy of Sciences.
On the first day of the exhibition, the Belarusian exposition was visited by Chairman of the Government of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina Igor Mirovic, Minister of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications of the Republic of Serbia Tatjana Matic, and Co-chairman of the Intergovernmental Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation Nenad Popovic, Minister without Portfolio in the Government of the Republic of Serbia.
The exhibition of Belarusian manufacturers Made in Belarus is organised by the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Belinterexpo. The event is supported by the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in the Republic of Serbia and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Serbia.
The International Agricultural Fair Novi Sad is the largest exhibition in the region and one of the most authoritative trade fairs in Europe.
This year more than 600 companies are taking part in the fair. There are nine countries represented: Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Italy, the Netherlands, Poland, Russia and Spain.
The International Agricultural Fair Novi Sad will be open until 24 September.
